Hi everyone,

For anyone who wants to learn or teach Afrikaans in exchange for learning other languages, I can recommend a good website to you. It's FREE to register and your details will be placed on the database so you can search for a suitable language buddy!!!!
You can meet a native speaker of the language you want to learn and you can help them learn your own language too!!!

That site is a banner-ad from hell. Since they advertise their site by running a script to create accounts and post on forums, I wouldn't trust them with my email address.

I am the lead developer of the site and I have just found this link through AltaVista. I am quite suprised at your comments and as a result I have removed the banner ads from the bottom of the site. They were only there to help people find the site whilst search engine submission was being processed.

I would also like to add that no one from LanguageBuddy.com has any kind of script that creates accounts, be it on internet forums such as this, or on our own site. A couple of members have posted helpful links on a couple of language learning forums.

Account registrations are secure, email is NEVER passed onto any other party, not even other site members or staff.

The site was created to help people learn languages, nothing more, nothing less. If you have any more concerns please don't hesitate to contact me.
