Like you, I do not look back on old threads, but I clearly remember how he made himself out to be quite illiterate of the English language,... quite beyond my comprehension why someone would want to appear so ignorant, beats me,

You are so right,

But do appreciate that even to any minority, however small, their own language is very important and comes with a proud heritage, and seeing you are now on this website take 'Afrikaans' as another example

Ja dude, I guess minority languages are important to someone, eh? My oumie is Afrikaans, and always gives me such grief when I mess up speaking to her.

Now you are speaking true to my hart, I did suspect you were one of us, nice to know another one in our midst
Take no notice of criticism, all languages change, my son lives in Paris with his mother, and some days I can't understand him, even though I speak French
