Jobs for US Citizen with a BA

Hi All-

I plan to move to South Africa within a year. I have a bachelor's degree from a small American liberal arts college. I'm wondering if anyone out there has had experience in getting a job in SA (Cape Town area) with an American degree, and with little job experience. I'm a 22 year-old Paralegal at a moderate-size law firm in Washington DC.

Also, does anyone know how my residency would be treated being married to a South African citizen?
