doccy, i can't believe you don't know marvin gaye. i'm not really into heavy soul, i'm more into sade, seal, sting, simply red, brand new heavies, jamiroqua, mica paris. i basically love anything new and original. a fresh sound. british artists really rock for me.and homebrewed sounds like stimela and of course salif keita and angelique kidjo.
my taste in music is wide and varied. i trying out the latin sound, no not ricky martin, too plastic. i'm thinking santana.

Hi folks,

I like more modern stuff too.....love Macy Gray right now....amazing voice.....but my passion is the old stuff!!!! What d'ya play Fred?? Sting and Simply Red don't do much 4 me.....but Mick Hucknall does have a great voice and a couple of their songs are pretty good!! And don't forget Stevie Wonder and James Brown....classics!!!

love ya
Linda
