Hey Som-Pride, my brother, how have you been? I would have expected you to correct your earlier outburst of lies but alas you come back to this forum with more lies about SA and its people instead of apologising for lying about them. Shame on you.
I don't know if you have access to SABC news wher you are. Today I saw the most amazing thing. The first inset was a group of Somali immigrants shouting at Mr Mbeki, blaming him for everything. They wanted the UN to come into SA to solve the problem,
The second inset was from another refugee camp where SA officials had a new challenge. They have been forced to separate the refugee camp according to country of origin! Why? The refugees/ immigrants from Somalia were harassing other refugees and depriving others of food!
Please call your friends in SA and ask them if this is true. You'll find out more if your friends are more honest than yourself!
I hope you see the light, wherever you are, my brother.

Thanks, I could not have said it better. Outsiders should stop commenting about what is happening in SA if they don't have the facts.

Go find the facts for yourself!
I had a lot of respect for SA before this stuff, but now I think it worse then most of African countries!
There alot of Refugees in Kenya, and you can't imagine how the refugees are welcomed, and the Kenya ppl are accomadating and tolerant of immigrants, the refugees own business inlcuding Somalis, Sudanese, Ethiopians, Ugandese etc!
and Kenya has less economy then SA!

too bad

I think you south africans are forgetting your history in a hurry.
You kill people who came to ur country because of some crisis.
You burn down shops that belong to other fellow africans because the piece of land belong to u.
You claim they earn money that should be earned by you while you dont work.
you believe you can achieve a lot being on your own.
You rubished the goals of great mandela who stood out among the great africans.
I know not all of you support the fight.
One thing must always be remembered ..
There are thousand of south africans living, working and studying in other places and they earn money there as well.

Som & Sam, my brothers, how are you today? Som I see you are still on your quest to demonise SA! But I see from your post that the truth stings of late!
"Go find the facts for yourself!"

My brother don't worry we all know that nobody is perfect. Somalia also has criminals and we can't judge a whole nation by the actions of minute minority. I know now that "pride" has different meaning to you and I. So I will not expect an apology from you on behalf of the people of SA for all your lies and slander.

Sam, I think you should clarify your message below so that everyone will understand you better.

I think you south africans are forgetting your history in a hurry.
SA is made up of a diverse group of people with different histories. Which history are talking about? To think that we have more than 10 official languages, 1 national anthem made from 3 previous anthems. +- 6 "African kingdoms" etc etc

You kill people who came to ur country because of some crisis.
If you are talking about the recent violence Som pride can back me on this. The death toll is 62 after some people who were injured initially have succumbed to their injuries. A number of SA's leaders in all fields have condemned the actions of those involved in the strictest terms. There are a lot of campaigns running nation wide to try to remedy the situation. A parliamentary commisionhas been formed to oversee the care of the affected people, the investigation as to who was responsible for what purpose and to put in place measures to ensure that there are no re-occurences in future. What more would you do?

You burn down shops that belong to other fellow africans because the piece of land belong to u.

FYI Most of the foreign owned businesses in the townships are rented from SA business owners who were unable to sustain them. These "landlords" are known in the communities and they themselves have asked "why would my neighbours burn down my shop because they know its mine and the Pakistanis rent it from me?" It doesn't make sense!

You claim they earn money that should be earned by you while you dont work.

Not in defence of this ridiculous statement because we all know that fair competition is a must for survival but I must bring this to your attention. There are some industries in SA that do exhibit disturbing episodes. In some farming communities there are some unscrupulous farmers who employ illegal immigrants at slave wages because they are vulnerable! Local labour can't compete with that! Some will blame the farmer but other can just as easily blame the immigrant for giving the farmer the opportunity!

you believe you can achieve a lot being on your own.

SA government has been instrumental at many regional projects/ solutions. On the tourism/ nature conservation front we now have 2 cross border conservations. Sharing the benefit between SA, Swaziland and Mozambicue! On the political front I don't know how African conflicts have been mediated by a SA leader! etc etc.
You rubished the goals of great mandela who stood out among the great africans.

I agree, those who have linked SA with xenophobic attacks have greatly dissapointed our beloved leader.

I know not all of you support the fight.

You wouldn't think you mean the above after all the finger pointing you've done so far in this post. "You did that....You....."

One thing must always be remembered ..There are thousand of south africans living, working and studying in other places and they earn money there as well.

How many of them are illegal immigrants in developing countries with a 14 year democracy? Is this a threat of some kind?
Tell me, my brother, should I think all Austrian men lock their daughters up and have kids with them? If not why?

Som
By now we have all realised that you are probably Somalian, living god knows where?
Why are you hitting this forum so hard...when you have never even been to SA
You are fighting a cause without any back-up, and for what reason?
The truth might hurt.....is it self pity?

Or are you looking for refuge?

It's very good to know who is your enemy!
It's not the vunerable guests who come for tourism or immigrants who come to do business or work!
Plus, if the police can't handle a few trouble makers now, it will get out of handle and become an uncontrollable thing later!
