Owl Box

Owl Breeding-box

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Attract owls to your garden by simply providing them with accommodation - an owl-breeding box.

This is an ideal way to manage the rodents in your garden, the friendly way.

We will install one in your garden for R650. Funds will be used towards rescuing and protecting this magnificent bird of prey. Please don't use pesticides that can harm this amazing bird - rather invite an owl to your garden to assist you in your pet control.

Do owls live all over South Africa? How does the owl box attract an owl? We have quite a problem with cats where I live. At one stage I was attracting birds to my garden with a feeder and bird bath, but then all the neighborhood cats started visiting as well (and using my garden as a toilet ) so I stopped feeding the birds.

Attracting owls

Hi, it is quite simple; owls are always looking for empty nests or any form of shelter that is available to them. This means that if there is an owl in your area, you will definitely attract them by providing them with an owl box. The owl types that you are most likely to attract are barn owls or spotted eagle owls, depending on your location.
