Absolutely right again. This is what our people (Africans everywhere) need to understand that there is no difference between Europeans with regards to their oppression of Africans.

Thank you also for showing us that you two represent, all those racist Africans that hate whites just as much as the whites you claim hate you.... its easy to see why both groups of racists are the way they are.. they feed off each other...


But then again there are people out there who are not racists and who account for people on an individual basis... you never comment on these people,they dont exist for you two because you dont attract them into your lives..
You will only ever get back what you put out.. and so unfortunately you may never meet the type pf people you would like to.

Nowhere here has said anything about hating the people of European origin - of course I believe that there are exceptions to the rule but the fact remains that the history of these people as well as their orientation means that we Africans would have to think twice about inviting them for a meal in our homes without thinking about protecting our properties first!!

And I'd like to add, with the givin past ignorance of cocasian people and not just in Africa. It is not fair to expect forgivness from the past opressed races. For there to be an elimination of racism, whites together would have to prove that they are worhty of being seen as equal. Becuase otherwise there is no reason why a black man/woman should trust a white person. rasism was introduced by whites and therefore it is up to whites to change this situation and take responsibility for the problems caused by racism such as violence...

To eliminate racism, you need to treat people as individuals. Neither of you two are doing that. You are generalising about a whole race.. which is racism.

Jay Bang I'm genralizing a whole race I know that but I am right even if it is racist. In this situation people can not be seen as individuals and here is why. Whites have introduced rasicm and as a result there are racist blacks who have every reason to be and it would not be normal human nature. Therefor if we are beening looked at as an entire race we must prove as an entire race that we are not the same people as we were in the past. Once we prove that we are not the same as our anssectors then racism between the two races will be able to end in southAfrica. I am white i live now in Canada and all I here is how bad the crime is in SouthAfrica and it is always the opressed blacks who have committed a murder, rape,... I'm sure white people commit many crimes as well but they are never the focus. I think that this sort of attitude will only encourage more racism and it really is our own problem, it was not the blacks or indian who introduced racism it was whites and despite weather any of us today have contributed to this problem or not if we want it fixed we will have to do somthing about it. The only way I see it is that cocaisions must show that the majority of us we are not racist if that is the case because we can not just expect to say "we're sorry for all those many years of violating your human rights, no hard feelings, right?" and expect that yes they are going to forgive us and trust us. When someone deliberatly hurts you,weather your white,black or any other race, for their own selfish gain then it's hard for to trust them agian unless they in some way prove to you that they have changed for the better. Now think of it this way white people introduce rasism and treat blacks poorly, what is the impression that is given to the blacks? Then we say we've changed but they see us with our good jobs expensive houses and material possessions, and on top of it all while we're living large, they are in poverty working as our maids and gardeners barley getting by. Now a few things have been done such as priorty for jobs and schooling is given to blacks and it is a step in the right direction. But it is still not enough because these actions resulted from sanctions, do you still think if the rest of the world had not cut off ties with SouthAfrica that there would have been this progressive change? mabey but but it wouldn't of happened at the time it did. Now this also shows that as a people, because the whites were in control at the time, that we have selfish motivations, becuase we were forced into geting rid of the aparthied and we did not do it untill we had to suffer from being shut out of the rest of the world. So if we have tought the blacks or any other race to look at us different because we are a different race then we should be the ones to rectafy the situation together and show that we are not different and that we are all equall. Even if this is a racist way of going about it. If you still think that I am wrong in how I think that we should eliminate the problem of racism then I would apreciate your argument. but I would also like you to tell me for what reason do you think that a black man/woman should trust a random white person that they do not know?

Good Point. Given the racist attitudes by Europeans living in Africa towards the indigenous people (Africans), I see no reason to trust them. One need only examine the last 200 years, and see that the Europeans have not dealt honestly with Africans.
