I am so angry

I cannot believe the ANC has the balls to enforce a new bill that will require 10 black players on the field(for rugby) at all times. They want to kick out the coach now too and have a black coach. They are destroying the greatest rugby team in the world. The ironic part is that they want to enforce this whole "diversity image" on rugby yet the soccer team has always been all blacks and still is. Where is the diversity in that? They also want to change the Springbok logo and name into some flower...

YouTube - South Africa: Politics and Sport, same difference

Watch that video. I absolutely 100% agree with this guy. Thabo Mbeki is a moron that is degrading our country. The funny part is that Mbeki once stated that "crime is not a problem in South Africa" even though South Africa is the 3rd most violent nation in the world. The ANC also likes to act like it's all fun and games. They don't even give a crap about the AIDS/HIV problem even though we have the highest HIV rate in the world.

For all those who have never been to South Africa: This is what our country is like. It's the racist capital of the world and it is extremely dangerous. It's filled with violence, murder, and rape. Don't let the ANC fool you that our country is a wonderful respectful and caring diverse community. It's far from that.

I know Affirmative Action is not meant to harm whites but seriously...how the hell does ruining the national rugby team give any support for those in poverty or in lack of education? Isn't the purpose of AA to help those people?

I'm deeply sorry that I used so much profanity but I hope you can sense the emotional anger I feel right now. It's days like this that I'm glad I moved to the United States of America.

For those of you still living in South Africa. Please do all that you can to help the Democratic Alliance. They are the only political party that can save this country from corruption.

I agree with you on the basic points, but have to disagree with you on a few, in particular on 1) AA and 2) the DA... The DA might be 'better' than the ANC, but then, anything is better than ANC, I would say... You know what they say, same story different name? Yeah, that's my evaluation of political parties in SA.

Congratulations to Habana but does that really have anything to do with this problem?

Non-white people in the Springbok side isn't the worst thing in the world?

Of course not. However, Habana is not a one-man team. The current line-up is the greatest rugby team in the world. Why change it just because of racial issues? Blacks are always welcome to the team, but why can't we have blacks simply earn a spot on the team by showing they're better than some of the current players instead of them just joining by affirmative action?

Also, they want 10 players on the field at all times that are black. Habana is colored not black(not that it really matters).

Habana is on the team because he's good. Not because he's not white.

I have to agree with Bowiefan871 that a player, irrespective of colour, should only be in the team if he is good enough.

Anything else will disgrace and degrade the sport.
