Heidelberg

This tiny town of Heidelberg stands on part of Langlaagte Farm - the site of the first Rand gold strike. It has a number of good-looking old houses and quite a few museums, including the Diepkloof Farm Museum, a resorted 1850's farmhouse in the Siukerbosrand Nature Reserve, and the Heidelberg Motor Museum, with a fine assortment of veteran motor vehicles.
