Pretoria - The Jacaranda City
Each October the city of Pretoria begins to transform into a haze of lilac and purple as the trees that afforded it the nickname of 'Jacaranda City' come into bloom. Pretoria is only fifty kilometers away from Johannesburg, and yet it boasts a completely different atmosphere. This city takes a more laid back approach, typically from the students who attend the Pretoria University and flood the streets with art and entertainment.
Pretoria is a cosmopolitan city. A well known attraction is the Union Building, whilst other attractions such as the South African Cultural History Museum and the Voortrekker Monument help to highlight the past struggles and the present diversity of the city. Further attractions that are worth the visit include the Tina Skukan Art Gallery and the Premier Diamond Mine. Pretoria is an exciting destination to explore in South Africa and has everything from historical buildings and monuments to breathtaking gardens and exciting activities waiting to be discovered.

is there a Morgan City Bank in Pretoria? Is South Africa and North Africa any different?

Way to go South Africa. Good to see all the great shows you've put up in 2009 and before leading to the FIFA World Cup in 2010. It's impressive so I am definitely coming. I need a student campus flat/suite/dormitory type of accommodation for June 10 to June 30 2010 = 21 nights in Pretoria or Johanessburg. I have contacted UP & UJ but no positive results. FIFA-MATCH is not displaying such modest accommodation either. Please where do I turn? Do you have colleges or seminaries or somewhere with safe and modest reasonable accommodation. Make it a good day, cheers
