Arabella Country Club - Pride of the Western Cape

Arabella Country Club is considered by many to be the best golf course in the entire Western Cape Province and has been voted as one of South Africa's top 5 golf courses. Home of the Nelson Mandela Invitational since the year 2003, Arabella Country Club attracts top golfers from the world over as well as many celebrities who enjoy a round. Located alonside the scenic Bot River lagoon and surrounded by indigenous fynbos, Arabella offers an incomparable golfing experience.

The fine fairways and carefully laid bunkers of Arabella Country Club were designed in 1999 by Pete Matkovich, a renowned South African golf course designer. Arabella has even been rated by Golf Digest USA as amongst the 100 best courses outside of the United States. This outstanding golf course not only offers exquisite golfing but also a stunning views of the lagoon, spreading out towards the Kogelberg Mountains. In all, the golf course has 70 bunkers and 8 acres of lakes. Each of the 18 holes provides an interesting challenge and each golf cart has ParView GPS so that you can find out the exact yardage to the green's center.

Arabella Country Club offers more than a memorable golfing experience, as golfers can benefit from a number of fantastic facilities, including a top-class clubhouse, bar and well stocked pro shop. The golf club also has a brilliant practice area where golfers can benefit from the expertise of two professional teachers. Each year since 2003, Arabella Golf Club has been hosting the famous Nelson Mandela Invitational charity tournament. This prestigious event has attracted celebrities such as Samuel L Jackson, Ernie Els, Tim Clark, Jack Nicklaus, Lee Westwood, Retief Goosen and Sam Torrance. All have made significant contributions towards the Player Foundation and Nelson Mandela Children’s Foundation. Arabella Country Club certainly offers a golfing experience in line with the best in the world.
