Wild Coast Country Club - A Lovely Day of Golfing Awaits You
The Wild Coast Country Club golf course has been rated by some as one of the best courses in Southern Africa. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr, the course is classified as one of Sun International’s most challenging and scenic courses. Key to the course is not only its excellent design but also the incredible and sometimes breathtaking views of the sea and countryside which this course affords. The Wild Coast Golf Course features 18 holes and is Par 70. It is an American style course which combines Cynodon and Paspaulm grass with stunning African sunsets.
Located in Port Edward, KwaZulu Natal, the Wild Coast Country Club is approximately 5 800 meters in length. The walk around the course is about eight kilometers in length so electric golf carts are available for those who don’t cherish the idea of lugging a bag full of golf clubs over such a large distance. The course also offers 59 large bunkers and well-manicured lawns. Some of the holes are line with gorges and there is even a waterfall on the 13th hole. This makes for interesting playing and you really have to get creative in order to beat par. Being a coastal golf course, the Wild Coast Country Club can also add wind to its list of challenges. Though the wind is not always present, when it does come up it can either help or hinder your play.

A great place to relax, talk over the day’s game and make new friends, the clubhouse has a peaceful and friendly atmosphere and plenty of good food. The Wild Coast Sun Country Club is also the home of the annual ‘Skins Tournament’. This contest attracts many of the world’s best players each year who delight crowds with their skill and accuracy.
