Kwazulu Natal South Africa

The Province of Kwazulu Natal has a history filled with romance and adventure. First sighted by Vasco da Gama in 1497 on Christmas day, he named the area 'Natal'. Since this period Natal has seen adventures, explorers, wars between nations, the rise and fall of Empires and Kingdoms, growth and development. Kwazulu Natal is a province with probably the greatest diversity of scenery, resorts, people and cultures, than any other province in South Africa.

The Kwazulu Natal Province can be sub-divided into a number of touring attractions and interests. If you're planning a holiday to Kwa-Zulu Natal, then the areas to consider visiting are Durban and the North and South Coast resorts. The Natal Midlands has many places of interest and resorts to visit. The majestic Drakensberg Mountains with its stunning resorts & panoramic views cannot be missed. Remember too, the northern Game Reserves of Umfolozi, Hluhluwe, St Lucia, Mkuzi, Ndumo Elephant Park, and Itala.

A visitor to the province can only wonder at the diversity from the cosmopolitan city of Durban with all its modern amenities and attractions, to the untouched wilderness regions of Umfolozi, to the majestic wonderland of the Drakensberg Mountains. Touring through Kwazulu Natal is a truly remarkable journey.
