White River
Northwards, from the R40 from Nelspruit takes you into the pleasant and attractive town of White River.
White River has a number of excellent curio shops and venues for the tourist and is the branch off point for the Kruger National Park, as well as private reserves and areas to the north of the province.
White River is the heart of the Jock of the Bushveld country, set in a rolling landscape that witnessed the early wagoneers heading from South Africa's early settlements to the British-free zone of Portuguese Mozambique's Indian Ocean coast.
