Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, located 280 km north of Durban, South Africa is the oldest proclaimed park in Africa. It consists of 960 km² (96000 ha) of hilly topography in central Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and is known for its rich wildlife and conservation efforts.The park is the only state-run park in KwaZulu-Natal where all the Big Five Game occur. Inspired Ⓑy Fred too. -5h24 : Zzzzz -5h25 : Brrrrr...Vrrrr (réveil en mode silencieux) -5h29 : ... -5h30 : Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (rappel réveil) -5h40 : Hummmm whaaaaaaa brrrrrrrrrr miiiiaaaaooouuu (bruits d'étirements matinaux, de chat glacé) -5h45 : Ça brule, ça brule ! ... ah mais c'est gelé ! (impossible de faire marcher la douche !) -5h55 : 6 couches de vêtements plus tard, on descend pour le thé . Scrouch, scroutch (même si on dirait du pain rassis, ils sont pas mauvais ces biscuits). -6h00 : En route mauvaise troupe ! On monte dans le 4x4, c'est parti pour le safari. -6h09 : Brrrr...(il fait toujours aussi froid ). Oh, une couverture ! -6h20 : Bloup bloup (bruit des hippopotames qui s'enfoncent dans l'eau) -6h40 : On voit les buffles (c'est moche), mais soudain un buffle fonce sur l'arrière gauche du véhicule ! Et qui a eu la bonne idée de se mettre au fond a gauche du 4x4 ? Mais qu'est-ce qu'il me veut lui ? A la dernière seconde, on accélère : ouf sauvé ! -6h45 : Oh une deuxième couverture ! -7h30 : Mon dieu mais c'est Bambi ! Sa maman le lèche, il vient de naitre il ya 4 heures. -7h45 : Zzzzzz...Les lions font dodo, c'est qu'ils dorment 18 heures par jour les veinards ! -7h50 : Huuuuuubvsjdgkjhk (les élans font des bruits chelou) -8h00 : Oooooh c'est mignon ! Le bébé rhino (-pharagite) dort à coté de sa maman. -8h10 : Sluuuuuuuurp slurp (le lion boit) -8h20 : Zzzzzzzzz...les crocodiles font la grasse mat' (il est que 8h20, je parle comme une mamie, bon ok je sors ...

Safari 2011 - 2 of 6 - Ivory Tree Lodge, SA [04:38]
The Ivory Tree Lodge is located in the Pilanesberg area of South Africa. It is a beautiful facility with individual huts including an outdoor shower. We did a game drive the first evening where we were charged by a bull elephant, saw many other animals, and were inspired by a beautiful sunset. With our jackets and blankets we headed out early the next morning on our drive and were able to watch a pride of lions relaxing and walking around eyeing two zebras below them. Next we came across a lioness resting near a kill. Across the way in a valley were two herds of elephants. In the same line of view were three rhinos grazing. We also viewed many other animals and especially beautiful birds.
