It includes elephant, rhino, giraffe, and other antelope and bird species, as well as a poisonous Boomslang snake. Predators, including lions, hyena, wild dogs, and the leopards that Londolozi is famous for will be included in other videos in this series. I'll also be posting videos from Zambia and Zimbabwe, taken later on this trip.

John X Safaris - South African Safaris [03:15]
South Africa is one of the most exciting countries in the world to hunt. Bigger than France and Spain combined, South Africa offers exotic and diverse combinations of landscapes, vegetation and wildlife that together make this country a unique hunting destination. The Eastern Cape and Karoo, both Malaria free areas, offer the finest hunting in the country with over 40 species of trophies available. This is more than anywhere else in Africa. In South Africa you are not limited by hunting seasons, but we prefer our seasons run from early March through late October. During these months the Eastern Cape boasts a moderate climate, making for comfortable hunting conditions and allowing those non-hunters to take part in the many extra activities available to them. We have access to over 3 million acres of privately owned land and game reserves bearing forth the high standards in trophy quality, which is documented in the record books. We believe that all hunters have their own idea and dream of hunting Africa; it is therefore only fair that each hunter customizes his/her own hunt. For this reason, John X Safaris does not offer any package hunts, which at times forces the hunter to pay for trophies in a package that he/she may not be interested in. South Africa is a great destination for the first time hunter to Africa, but it offers so much more than that. For the second and third time hunter, it allows you time to hunt and explore the smallest of antelope in our forest, to our ...

SPECTACULAR SOUTH AFRICA [04:13]
South Africa Land of Diversity is located at the southernmost region of Africa, with a long coastline that stretches more than 2500 km and along two oceans the South Atlantic and the Indian. The interior of South Africa is a vast, flat, and sparsely populated scrubland, the Karoo, which is drier towards the northwest along the Namib Desert. In contrast, the eastern coastline is lush and well watered, which produces a climate similar to the tropics. To the north of Johannesburg, the altitude drops beyond the escarpment of the Highveld, and turns into the lower lying Bushveld, an area of mixed dry forest and an abundance of wildlife. East of the Highveld, beyond the eastern escarpment, the Lowveld stretches towards the Indian Ocean. It has particularly high temperatures, and is also the location of extended subtropical agriculture. South Africa is ranked sixth out of the world's seventeen mega diverse countries with more than 20000 different plants, or about 10% of all the known species of plants on Earth, making it particularly rich in plant biodiversity. The most prevalent biome in South Africa is the grassland, particularly on the Highveld, where the plant cover is dominated by different grasses, low shrubs, and acacia trees, mainly camel-thorn and whitethorn. There are significant numbers of baobab trees in this area, near the northern end of Kruger National Park. The Kruger National Park being the largest of the 291 conservation parks in South Africa. South Africa also ...
