  • EENDAG's lead actor plays same character 21 years later

There's one feature of our movie EENDAG that we believe makes it quite unique among other movies that depict a story over a long period of time.

Usually movies would use actors of very differing ages, especially when depicting the childhood years, to show an actor over a long period of time. To age that character they might use make-up and wigs to show a wrinkled skin and gray hair.

What do we do on EENDAG?

Well, we time travel, just like Kevin in the story itself.

Of course, contrary to Kevin and his Kronobot, we can only travel forward, at normal speed, such as what you, dear reader, are doing right now, traveling forward in time at normal speed.

So, we need to shoot a scene when the right time comes by, and have been doing so for the past 22 years. How are we doing so far?

Pretty good I think. During Kevin's reflection on his life, early on in the movie EENDAG, we go all the way way back into Kevin's early life, starting at when he was a child, making his first robot called Robbie.

Here are two snapshots of Kevin from the movie, or Marius Macrobius portraying Kevin, from scenes filmed 21 years apart:

    Yep, how time flies!

We hope that you will find the time passing and time traveling aspect in EENDAG very authentic, as this is what we are going for.
