Leopards fight on a tree in Panna!

Leopards fighting on a (Sterculia?) tree at Panna National Park, Madhya Pradesh, India. This video footage was shot by Shyamendra Singh and Howard Buffett of the United States (he of the Buffett family fame). Howard is active in conservation in both India and Africa... Shyamendra Singh of Ken River Lodge was hosting Mr. Buffett when this encounter was viewed on a trip into the park. Panna National Park is a national park located in Panna and Chhatarpur districts of Madhya Pradesh in India. It has an area of about 543 square miles (1,406 km²). The terrain in Panna National Park is undulating and heavily forested with many streams and waterfalls. Among the animals found here are the chital, the chinkara, the sambhar and the sloth bear. It is also a tiger reserve. The park is home to more than 200 species of birds including the Bar-headed Goose, the Honey Buzzard, the King Vulture and the Blossom-headed Parakeet. Panna National Park is also referred to as a Tiger Reserve since it comes under the aegis of Project Tiger in India. According to Wikipedia, Howard Buffett serves or has served on the National Geographic Council, World Wildlife Fund National Council, Cougar Fund, Platte River Whooping Crane Trust Advisory Committee, Illinois and Nebraska Chapters of the Nature Conservancy, Ecotrust, De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Trust, and the Africa Foundation. Buffett founded the Nature Conservation Trust, a non-profit Trust in South Africa to support cheetah conservation, the International Cheetah Conservation Foundation, and was a Founding Director of The Cougar Fund. In October 2007, Buffett was named an Ambassador Against Hunger by the United Nations World Food Programme. In March 2010, Buffet became a member of the Eastern Congo Initiative founded by Ben Affleck. "I joined Ben in this effort because I believe strongly in investing in sustainable solutions to humanitarian challenges," he said.
