Travel – Mar 2010 – Giraffes in Kruger National Park in So. Africa – Carl W. Farley

There is something really dreamy about seeing live giraffes in the wild as we did on our safari trip to Kruger National Park. They are so so tall and graceful and some are especially colorful with their bright colors. These are my wife's favorite wild animals. But these guys have to watch it when they take a drink from a local watering hole. They only have seven neck vertabrae so they assume a real vulnerable position when they stoop down and lower their heads. But how do you tell male from female? Listen to the guide's narration in the video. Go to my web site for more stories of our trip: http://users.hal-pc.org/~farleycw/QTravels/200Africa10.html
